Nowdays,many people like traveling. With the increasing quantity of traveler,the tourism develops in a surprising speed.That causes a few problems, such as environment problem,culture problem,and so on.This article will discuss whether the benefits of tourism overweight the costs.
As we know, tourism may cause the ruin of environment. The costs of tourism can not be avoided,bu can be relieved.As the environment protecting,in a long term,the tourism agents will realize that customers expect them to provide a intact destination.That may encourage the activities of protecting and renewing environment.(Currie,2009) If tourism agents and government can help establish the communication between tourists and residents,culture conflict can be relieved.
To conclude,the benefits of tourism can overweight the costs.However,it depends on the specific plans and legislations.If government and communities can realize the effects caused by tourism and try to improve it,the tourism industry will become a clean,valuable industry not only for local residents,but also for environment.
