For me,I think the biggest difference culture between China and British is the attitude to their son and daughter.As we know,the children come from UK or another western country are more independent than chinese children.Because the english parents teach their children that they should do everything by themselves in particular when they are 18 years old.The people have to earn the money to support their flat(most of people which are elder than 18 should leave their parents' house)、food 、study and so on.However,after the children were born in China,the only thing their parents want to do is giving the best material to them.Parents spend all of time on the children even though "THE CHILDREN" have been a adult yet!In parents' mind,their children always are children which can not be hurt any more.No only looking after the children life,but also helping to look for the job after the children graduate from the school. Chinese attend to their children too much to enjoy their life . However,when the people are old,this is the duty that their children care for them.In my opinion,it is the best benefit for attending to their children.Because in UK,so many people have to live in a nursing home when they are too old to look after by themselves.The people do not think they must care for their parents,and the aged people feel lonely so much.
To sum up,everything has both sides,we could not judge which way treat your children is better.

ReplyDeleteI would say that the essay you have written is a very good explanation of ONE main idea! You did not talk about any other differences or similarities, so you did not fully answer the question, which is very important! You also do not include an introduction or separate ideas into paragraphs. However, here that makes sense because what you have explained (very well!!!!!) is only one main idea.
You use transitions well and you show a strong writing style with some problems in sentence structure, but your meaning is always clear! (Also, don't start sentences with Because!!!)
Overall, this is very well written, but needs to be developed more to sufficiently answer the question.
