How different between British culture and Chinese culture

There are many differences between British culture and Chinese culture. In this essay I'll talk about how different they are and what similar aspects do they have? In my opinion, these two countries both have long history, so they have many differences form thousand years age until now. However, people have same answer on some problem whatever are people living in the different place.

They have some differences about living method between British and Chinese. The first of all, people who are living in China always teach their children when they were young how to solve question individually, for this reason, they don’t know how to work in groups when they grow up. On the other hand, British people teach their children how to do team work form they were a little boy or girl. So that, it is a big problem that any Chinese have different ideas and they don’t know how to work together to find solution efficiently, the most efficient way that people who is in the group to choose a leader and other people just follow him or her sometimes. However, for this aspect British is much better than Chinese, because they have lots of experience since they were a child. Secondly, there are so much different between British food and Chinese food. The reason is Chinese think about cooking for thousand years, they invent hundreds way to cook different food such as beef, pork, lamb, fish and vegetables. Indeed, they keep the balance between taste, small and shape. Now, it would be one of the most popular foods in the world.

Furthermore, British people and Chinese people also have same ideas about majority questions. They love the member of their family, they always are friendly when they know new friends, and also have vegetarians in China. Much more, they both like to create future and enjoy their life.

Everyone could have the same answer on few questions, but they should do more communication between people who are living in different countries, in this way we can find more method to solve different questions.

  1. Hi Ray,

Thank you for your interesting essay- I especially liked the part about team work in China and the UK. You started off your essay well and provided sentences to show the main ideas of your paragraphs, which provides a clear organization! Good use of transitional words between sentences and supporting ideas! Remember, when you are comparing two things, such as China and the UK, you need to show the opposing sides of your idea. For example, talking about Chinese food is a good point, but needs to be contrasted with British food. Also, always try to be clear with vocabulary- for example, "majority questions" in paragraph three is slightly unclear. Be sure to explain your meaning behind vocabulary and definitions so the reader is clear on your meaning.

Good use of introduction and conclusion to create a well rounded essay. Well done!
