Hello everyone!
To help you practice for our first note-taking assessment on Friday, this week's writing assignment will be a note-taking exercise.
Assignment:
Use the following article link to complete the assignment.

Include the definitions of 5 words that you were unfamiliar with that you feel were important to understand the article. Write one example sentence for EACH word to show you understand the meaning.
Provide a list of the key words that you noted for the main ideas and supporting examples of this topic.
Finally, write a summary of the main ideas and key supporting examples of the article IN YOUR OWN WORDS. (This should be no more than one paragraph long).
Be sure to think about the difference between the main ideas of the text and the supports!
