Differences between British culture and Chinese culture

As far as I am concerned, an array of differences between British culture and Chinese culture. Chinese and British cultural differences in the performance of every aspect of daily life from the greeting ,term diet and cultural differences in the way of thinking in the abstract, such as differences everywhere.
Evidently, British are very conservative. It is very difficult to get in touch with them. It is beyond any doubt that Chinese are very amiable, so Chinese are very easy to make friends.
Different colors in different cultures are not expressed in the same way. In China, red represents happy and gland. But in British, red represents violence and blood.
There is no denying that dragon is a very lucky animal, so people very like it. But in British, dragon is a cruel animal, people are all afraid it.
Cultural differences on politeness between British and Chinese can be found in many aspects of daily communication. In English, people often employ the following expressions to greet each other “Good morning/evening/afternoon. “Fine day, isn’t it? ”How is everything going?” Have you eaten yet?” What are you going to do?” Where have you been?”etc. Westerners treat them as real question. While in Chinese, we always say “Do you have lunch?”“Where are you going?”“What are you donging?”to show our consideration. In British, some people say"thank you" You can respond "you are welcome" But in China , you respond"Do not Thanks".
Different from China, Christmas Day plays an important role in British. In China, Spring festival is biggest festival.
To sum up , there are some difference British culture and Chinese culture. There are very interesting, so I like them very much. If Jennifer has time, please tell me more.

  2. Thank you for your essay, Justin. You have some very interesting ideas, and I especially liked the part about the cultures view colors differently. You certainly brought up many interesting and relevant differences between the two cultures. The introduction was well done in terms of generally introducing the topic and providing some examples of areas where potential differences can be found.

The main comment I have here is that you need to work on structuring your essays. Paragraphing is an essential part of writing academic essays and help to provide structure and organization to your main ideas. Grouping supporting ideas and examples together in paragraphs helps to strengthen your argument and allow for easier reading! So, while your content and ideas are strong, don't forget to include paragraphs and transitions (linking words) to connect them!

    Well done!
