2.proclaim--announce officially
e.g The government proclaimed a state of emergency.

3.recruit--enrol someone as a member in an organization.
e.g They set out to recruit a team of the brightest minds available.

4.sleight of hand--quick action or gesture of hands.
e.g He switched the watches by sleight of hand.

5.red-handed--indicate that a person has been discovered in or just after the act of doing something wrong or illegal.
e.g He couldn't deny his crime because he caught red-handed.

Summary: There is a new group becoming increasingly popular that people put some money to another person's pocket who actually need it, and it would never stop as the receiver would give money to next target. It is a challange that people should have skills, stealth and sleight of hand to avoid leading to attention by receivers. Although members have specific ID, they haven't been caught in the act.

  1. good examples and defenitions, sylvia! However, the key words and summary leave out some important details, such as who is doing it, where, and why! The main idea is to talk about the actions of the company Talk Talk and their new "put-pocketing" plan, which is a key word that would need to be mentioned in a summary!
